His Belly is a Bottomless Pit
“I am hungry!” That is the most common phrase that my 9-year-old son is known for. The funny part is, he utters that just a few minutes after every meal. Must be because he’s a growing boy.
I wonder what will his favorite line be when he’s already a grown-up man. “I want cigars!” perhaps. LOL. Well, for as long as it is not something illegal, I don’t see any problem with it. For as long as he will be a good man just like my husband who used to smoke cigars too.
My Poor Li’l Niecy
We were out for almost the whole day today shopping for groceries and the things that we need for our trip later this week. When I checked my Facebook account, I was surprised to see photos of my 1-year-old niece in the hospital. It worried me so much that I felt my nerves shaking. If I were the husband, I would have smoked a cigarette or perhaps some Acid cigars to calm my nerves.
I commented on the photos, but no one will be able to answer me because it’s in the wee hours of the morning back home, half-a-world away from here. I scrolled down on my home page some more and saw my sister-in-law’s post. My niece had chills, but she is now okay. What a relief that was. I will talk to them in the morning.
To Smoke, Or Not?
It always amuses me whenever my son tells me that he’s not going to smoke when he grows up. My hubby smokes, but he’s vocal about opposing letting Yogi follow his footsteps. He’s been smoking since he was 14 years old and though he has slowed down, still, he’s in the process of cutting down for good. And he’s on his way and I understand what he’s been going through in getting it out of his system. At least he don’t smoke two packs a day like he used to, but only a few sticks a day. I find that an achievement already and I admire him for that.
But back to the little one. I hope he will live up to his ideals. He’s young and his choices could change. But if ever he will choose to smoke a cigarette or a montecristo cigar perhaps in the future, I don’t know what to do. I guess I will just cross that bridge when I get there.
He’s Living the High Life
After years, my fiancé finally quit smoking cigarettes. Good boy, honey. Still, he does indulge in his cigars, and not just any cigars because he likes the best in anything he does, so he goes for the best and buys the most expensive cigars he can fit into his budget.
I’ve got no prob with that. He works hard and deserves his little pleasures, what he calls his little gifts to himself. And I can’t help but feel special knowing that since he does always go for the best, that’s why he chose me to be his li’l wifey. Right, Honey? Hee-hee-hee.
