I’ve Been a Good Girl, Honey
We are not done with our Christmas shopping yet, but we are definitely done shopping for the little one’s gifts. He made his list and we checked it twice and totally gave all that he asked for. It’s Christmas after all and it’s his happiness and joy that is the most important to us.
I am done shopping for myself too and for the husband, but I think the husband is not done with his yet – gifts for me to be exact. I guess it is because he doesn’t know which one to buy first. LOL. I didn’t make a list, but I did give him hints on what I want like a black berry tablet, iPod touch, kindle fire and a laptop. But I am not saying he should buy them all. He can choose one, but I’d be glad if he’ll add one more or two. LOL.
Dear Santa Husband
You asked me last night what I wanted for Christmas, but I was too shy to tell you what I want so I said, “Surprise Me!”, instead. But actually I wanted to tell yo to get me an ipod touch plus an ipod docking station where I can put it.
I know I will be too shy to tell it to your face so here I am writing about it. I am just hoping you will read this before Christmas. If not, then I guess I will have to work up the nerve to tell it to your face by then. (“,)
Barcode is not a Drink Menu, Honey
Whenever we go grocery shopping, there is one thing that I look forward to doing – self check-out. The husband likes doing it a lot and he got me into it too. And there is one more reason why: I like hearing the sound of the barcode scanner’s beep whenever I scan the item’s code. Just consider it one of my eccentricities, but I really do.
The little one likes it too and actually, he does the check-out more than I did. Sometimes we have to argue about it because I want to do it and he insists that he gets to do it. LOL. Maybe we will just buy barcode scanners, one for each of us so there will be no more arguing.
Kids Will be Kids; and My Kid’s a LOUD KID!
My 8-year-old son is such a hyper-active kid. And whenever he gets excited, he will keep on talking to the point that his voice will change to a loud, high screech which irritates the husband at times. The husband actually kidded him one time that he will put a tuner at him so he can adjust the volume. Or perhaps he’ll use an audiometer to measure how powerful his voice is. He could probably be a Guinness record holder for that. LOL.
I’ll Wham Bam My Cam if it Dies On Me
I’ve been using my digital camera for almost two years now. It was my husband, my fiance’ then, who gave it to me on my 34th birthday. It is still good to go though there are times that it seems like the battery goes dead easily. I am hoping and praying that it won’t die on me until the month’s over because our scheduled road trip is next week.
I’ll get me one of those fuji digital cameras if I have problems anytime this week or the day before the road trip, but please, not on the day of the road trip itself. I will really get pissed if that happens. I am now keeping my fingers crossed!
I’m Mad for Music
I am a music lover and that is why I’ve been wanting to have an ipod touch. It is on my wish list though it is not the top item there. I am saving now for the one on the number one spot and once I am done with that one, saving for an ipod touch will come next. I don’t think I need to read an ipod touch review though to determine which one I want because I will get it even if there are bad reviews about it. That’s how I badly wanted to have one, and I can’t wait to get hold of that gadget. Soon, soon…
My Son’s Gotta Have His Saturday Cartoons!
My son was whining about his television not working this morning. Gladly, it was a Saturday and my husband was home. So, he was able to check it and found out that the problem had something to do with one of the tv cables; it was disconnected from the TV. I don’t know how that happened. Maybe my son was tinkering with it or something. I did ask him if he touched it but he said no.
Well, at least it’s done now and I will not be hearing my son whine again, at least till next time, that is.
Gadgets Galore There, But Not For Me
We were at the mall a couple of days before Christmas and my fiance’ was checking the electronics section of the department store. I was wondering what he was checking. I thought he was going to buy me a gadget for Christmas like a laptop, perhaps, or an iphone or maybe an ipod nano. Those are just some of the electronic goodies that I’ve been raring to have and he is aware of that because I’ve been very vocal about it. But no, he bought an answering machine because the one we had at home was busted. Oh well, better luck next time for me. (“,)
Make A Note, Mommy: Think Net
My son Yogi was browsing his Facebook account earlier when he saw his classmate’s photo holding a netbook. And you guess right: he wanted one for himself, like RIGHT NOW!
And I was like, “I thought you’ve wanted a PSP above any and everything else. But he retorted, “Can I have them both?” Kids; go figure. That really amused me. At his age of seven, he’s already wanting all these electronic gadgets. So I guess it will not just be PSP that I am going to look into soon but I will be including top netbooks in the list too, huh?
Surprise Me, Honey!
My son has always been wanting to have his much-desired gadget, a PSP. My fiancé told me secretly that he will probably get it this Christmas. I was so happy to know it and it got me into thinking that maybe I will get my much-desired electronic gadget too, and that’s a Sony VAIO laptop. He didn’t give me a hint or anything but knowing him to love and enjoy giving surprises, I have this feeling that it will be my surprise gift this Christmas. Should I still call it a surprise when in fact I already got an idea? Hee hee.
