PostHeaderIcon Money Saved is Money Earned

My husband is a fixer-upper kind of guy which is a big advantage here in the U.S. because whenever there is a need to fix something that has got to do with electric or plumbing, we don’t need to call a pro because he can do it by himself which definitely saves us beau coup money.

Just last week, we had a leak in one of our water pipes. Glad he saw it before our trip or we would have arrived back home with a house turned into a pool.

Good thing, it was a quick fix, but he had to replace the quick disconnect plug and had to run to the hardware to get one.

Good job, Honey! As always!

PostHeaderIcon Not Enough Water For Me

The whole summer was a blast for my son. Our neighbor has a pool so he swam every chance he could get. It is only a small pool that is fit for kids without a pool heat pump, so I only got to enjoy myself watching them while they were enjoying the coolness of the water.

There were times that I got this urge to jump in and dip with them, but chose not to. I couldn’t really swim because of its size, but just to at least feel the water. I enjoyed our tub instead, with warm water at that.

The toys nowadays really amuse me. The only toys that I can remember that my siblings and I had when we were young were dolls or cars. Today, they already have tools, equipment, gadgets, even as small as projector bulbs.

I wasn’t aware that there was such until I saw our neighbor’s kid playing with a projector. That was really cool! My 8-year-old son had fun playing with him because that was the only time that he saw such toy too. Cool!

I was talking to a friend on the phone yesterday when she suddenly disappeared. That surprised me only to find out that the problem was mine. We had a power outage! We haven’t had a power outage for a while, but times like that really makes me want to grab one of those honda generators, pronto! Power outages can be irritating most especially when you’re in the middle of doing something that requires electricity. If power outages will frequent us, then I will think more about the generator. Actually, I need to put a bug in my hubby’s ear and get him to take care of it.
