It was an hour ago earlier when I heard my son asking permission from my husband to go out of the house. My hubby asked him where he’s going and he answered that he will just look for something outside. I didn’t budge or anything, but I looked out from the window on where he’s going. He went to the side of the house and was gone. I didn’t see him coming towards the house when he get back so, I was surprised when he was holding some of these flowers here.

They are now growing in our front yard. I wasn’t the one who planted them though. My husband’s sister-in-law was the one who planted it a long time ago and even though it was snowed and all, still, they kept on growing.

My son put the flowers in a vase and it’s now sitting in his bathroom’s cabinet. I do wonder what came up with him. He’s been cleaning and arranging his room since yesterday and perhaps he thought that it needs flowers to beautify it the more. Nice thinking though because his bathroom is really looking good now with those flowers. (“,)

I was talking to a friend on the phone yesterday when she suddenly disappeared. That surprised me only to find out that the problem was mine. We had a power outage! We haven’t had a power outage for a while, but times like that really makes me want to grab one of those honda generators, pronto! Power outages can be irritating most especially when you’re in the middle of doing something that requires electricity. If power outages will frequent us, then I will think more about the generator. Actually, I need to put a bug in my hubby’s ear and get him to take care of it.

My husband is always on the go and he simply can’t stay still even on the weekend. He always has to tinker on something. He was rewiring the wall phone earlier, and now, he’s tinkering the Moen faucets that we have in the kitchen and bathrooms. I was going to ask him what’s wrong with them, but I opted not to. I know there’s nothing wrong with it, and he was just checking it to be sure that there’s no leaks or something.

He’s such a boy scout, if I may say. Always ready and always good to go. Ummm, does that belong to the boy scout motto? Tell me. LOL.

My brother Erwin brought us a gallon of Double Dutch ice cream yesterday in celebration of his first payday on his new job. The little one jumped for joy because he’s a big fan of ice cream just like his mom. Hehe. He immediately filled his cup with ice cream – so full that some of it dropped onto one of the rugs in the dining area. Gladly, it only left a little stain or my mom would surely have gone ballistic. I just rubbed it with a wet sponge and it was gone.

That didn’t stop the little one from getting another ice cream filled cup though. But I was the one who put ice cream in it the second time. I didn’t want him to mess up again because I’d for sure be the one cleaning his mess again as well as dealing with granny’s temper. LOL.

There’s only five more days to go before my son’s 7th birthday. I already have plans of what food to buy, what his cake’s flavor and theme will be, and whom to invite. It will only be a small party and aside from a few of his close playmates and the family circle, I will just invite his godparents.

I will have my general cleaning done by Saturday to prepare the house and I will do my shopping galore tomorrow for the things needed for the party. I need to buy outdoor rugs to be used in the patio and near the main door. I also need to get those party hats and balloons for the kids; can’t forget about that! And of course, I will buy Yogi a new set of clothes for him to wear at the party, and perhaps me too. Good idea, eh! Hehe.

My weekend will definitely be a busy one!
