There’s No Place Like Home, and I Have Two of ‘Em

Author: One month from today and we will turn one year old and celebrate the first time we set our foot on U.S. soil. I haven’t been homesick since everybody has been nice and supportive. My son fit right in too.
We have been here for eleven months today and though I’ve already adjusted to the people and climate, still, for me, there is no place like home. I know, this is my home now, but still it is different without my family and friends around. But knowing that the husband is open to the idea of retiring to my home country, it is more than enough to keep me motivated.
If that time comes, I’ll probably send Moving Announcements to let everybody know. But it doesn’t mean we’re not coming back here. For certain we will be back, for a vacation perhaps.
