Just like my husband’s 28-year-old daughter, my 9-year-old son wants to learn how to play the guitar too. And the husband being good at it, it is obvious he will be the one to show the young fellas the tricks.

We have one guitar here at home which the husband has had since he was in his teens. Yep, that long, but the guitar is still very much in good shape and he plays it from time to time which interests my son.

We might get him one of those Benedetto Guitars once he learns how to play. It would be great to have one more guitar so my son and my husband will play together. I can’t wait for that moment to happen.

Music is something I love and my son does too. He got it from me, I’m sure. He’s only 8 years old, but he is already showing his love for music this early. He loves to sing, and listen to and watch music videos on YouTube, singing along with them. He also loves to play with my husband’s guitar though he doesn’t know how. He’s just pretending he knows what he’s doing by strumming on the strings.

And after seeing him do that, we thought it would be great to enroll him in music classes because aside from the guitar, he’s also showed an interest in drums after seeing a display at the mall. My husband and I had already talked about getting him into music classes and perhaps getting him a guitar, maybe a laney lionheart guitar which he could call his own. That would really be awesome!

This is my 7-year-old son’s favorite group at present, Big Time Rush. You would hear him sing to the top of his lungs the boys’ hits all throughout the day. What he would do is open their videos on YouTube and he would sing along.

I haven’t heard of this band until my son told me. Gosh! He’s more updated than me. Lol. The band has a show on Nickelodeon and I think that’s where he saw them. They started with a television show and was created into a singing boy band. I don’t have any idea about their names at all, but my son does. He told me about it once, but oh well, it just went to my other ear and went out of the other. Hee hee.

I used to go gaga over these boy bands, but not anymore. I think I am already too old for that one. (“,)
