An Achiever
The first thing that he did when he got home from school yesterday was to show me his test papers from their fourth grading exams. He was proud to say that he only got few wrong answers in all his exams – 5 mistakes being the highest making him one among the student achievers in their classroom. And his proud of that too. He actually broke the news to me when he finally got into the list of achievers. That’s my son, Yogi I was talking about and that being so simply makes me a super proud mom.
Way to go, Yogi. Their recognition is already this Friday and I can’t wait to go to the stage and pin his ribbon or perhaps, give him his medal. (“,)
Capturing the Moment Forever
One more week to go and classes are over for my little one. March 26th, Friday will be their recognition day. I will be there to honor my son Yogi because that’s another major milestone for him – a moment that should not be missed. And what better way to capture such moments than with my digital camera. Yep, I’ll be Yogi’s photographer for the day and there will be a bunch of pictures that will be added into the bountiful file of pictures taken since he was a baby – most of which were just stored in our personal computer and were never developed at a developing center.
There was a time that I was actually thinking of buying a digital frame so I could store them all, but because of a lot of things filling my mind, I just forgot about it. But with Yogi’s recognition day coming up, getting a digital frame entered my thoughts again. Maybe this is the best time to get one, while it’s fresh on my mind. Got to go and check one out, as in RIGHT NOW!
Pre-Finals Exam
Yogi’s teacher and the one who tutors him sent me an sms the other day that exams will be next week already. That’s all she said so I was wondering how come they will have their exams so early. It’s still February and usually, finals is in March.
I went to their school earlier to pay Yogi’s tuition so I asked the principal how come it was so early only to find out that it’s only the pre-finals examination and not the fourth grading period yet. Okay, now I know.
Yogi’s now being prepared for the pre-finals exams by his tutor so I don’t have to worry a thing about it. (“,)
Nutrition Month Celebration
Here’s more of the pictures i’ve taken during the Nutrition Month Culmination Day which i promised to share. One of the contests they’ve had was the poster making contest where all grade levels competed. Our group, Grade 1 got the second price in the primary level. Kids are becoming really talented nowadays. Those drawings say it all.

Nutrition Week Culmination Day
Nutrition Month is celebrated in July and Montessori School of General Santos City celebrated it with a bang. They had cooking activities every week for the entire month, poster making contest, dance and singing contests and a lot more. On the day of the culmination which was on July 31st, we, parents were invited to join the program and their cooking activity as well. We’ll post more pictures here soon. Meanwhile, take a look at some of the photos i’ve taken that day.

Induction of Officers

The Boys

The Little Girls
He is the Prince
In their classroom’s set of officers, that is, and i just found out about it yesterday. It was their Nutrition Month’s Culmination Day and the induction of officers as well in all grade levels.
Yogi mentioned about him being their classroom’s Prince to me before but i never really took it seriously. Thought his classmates were just teasing him about it. And yesterday, i figured that it’s true. But he didn’t pledge because he’s shy to go up on stage. Oh well, Yogi. Will that make you their official classroom Prince? Hehe.
