PostHeaderIcon Li’l Baseball Fan

Yep, our little one is really so into it now. My husband is a true blue baseball fan and he got both me and my son into it actually. More so that the little one got a glove and a baseball from the husband’s bestfriend last Christmas as gifts. And yesterday, the husband also surprised him with a little league baseball bat.

Today, his playtime was spent playing baseball with the kids next door. The husband also joined them and played as the pitcher. But for safety purposes, they didn’t use the baseball. They used a soft ball instead.

They all had a blast!

PostHeaderIcon Not Enough Water For Me

The whole summer was a blast for my son. Our neighbor has a pool so he swam every chance he could get. It is only a small pool that is fit for kids without a pool heat pump, so I only got to enjoy myself watching them while they were enjoying the coolness of the water.

There were times that I got this urge to jump in and dip with them, but chose not to. I couldn’t really swim because of its size, but just to at least feel the water. I enjoyed our tub instead, with warm water at that.

Whenever we go grocery shopping, there is one thing that I look forward to doing – self check-out. The husband likes doing it a lot and he got me into it too. And there is one more reason why: I like hearing the sound of the barcode scanner’s beep whenever I scan the item’s code. Just consider it one of my eccentricities, but I really do.

The little one likes it too and actually, he does the check-out more than I did. Sometimes we have to argue about it because I want to do it and he insists that he gets to do it. LOL. Maybe we will just buy barcode scanners, one for each of us so there will be no more arguing.

PostHeaderIcon Tummy Upset

That’s what our little one is having now. He’s been complaining about his stomach aching last night. I told him that it’s probably gas. He had a good night sleep, but he woke up with a tummy upset once again. He pooped twice already, but it wasn’t something watery. He also vomited once, but I guess it has something to do with the food that he had for breakfast.

I checked his temperature, but it’s normal. He probably got a bug in his tummy. We ate the same foods yesterday, but I am A-okay. I hope he will be better soon. It worries me when he is sick.

PostHeaderIcon Kids Will be Kids; and My Kid’s a LOUD KID!

My 8-year-old son is such a hyper-active kid. And whenever he gets excited, he will keep on talking to the point that his voice will change to a loud, high screech which irritates the husband at times. The husband actually kidded him one time that he will put a tuner at him so he can adjust the volume. Or perhaps he’ll use an audiometer to measure how powerful his voice is. He could probably be a Guinness record holder for that. LOL.

PostHeaderIcon I Hope Icky Means Beautiful to Him

This question goes to all the women out there because I know for certain that men are not as vain as we are. LOL.

What is your daily beauty regimen?

I have my before-bedtime rituals which my husband really finds amusing. I can’t sleep without knowing that my face is clean. I put on night cream after washing my face with my favorite foam wash. My husband finds the night cream icky whenever he kisses me and would kid me that I feel slimy. LOL.

I have this set of skin care products that I use not just for my face, but for my whole body as well. I’ve been using them for years and I think I will always be. He has no complaints about that…(“,)

My son is my unico hijo so he doesn’t have playmates not unless our neighbors will come over or will invite him. But when we are out like in the mall or restaurants, he would play by himself. He would entertain himself by playing karate like he is the Karate Kid.

I took these photos when we were at my husband’s favorite restaurant bar. While waiting for him talking to his friends, I just sit on one of the corner tables near the restrooms and Yogi felt bored that he started his karate once again. He faced the cigarette machine and made it his enemy. LOL.

His enemy - the cigarette machine.Poor machine. (“,)

Another anticOne of his karate movements.

PostHeaderIcon Why Didn’t I Have Such Toys?

The toys nowadays really amuse me. The only toys that I can remember that my siblings and I had when we were young were dolls or cars. Today, they already have tools, equipment, gadgets, even as small as projector bulbs.

I wasn’t aware that there was such until I saw our neighbor’s kid playing with a projector. That was really cool! My 8-year-old son had fun playing with him because that was the only time that he saw such toy too. Cool!

PostHeaderIcon When’s it Gonna Be My Turn?

I was halfway through reading about Diet pills that work fast for my mom who asked the favor for me to do it when my 8-year-old son woke up. As always, he woke up late again. I wonder what time he went to bed last night.

I had to stop reading because I had to prepare his breakfast. And guess what happened when I got back? He was already sitting on my throne and playing his fave game. He begged to only finish one game, but it seems like it never ends.

I was able to continue my reading an hour after that. Oh well!

PostHeaderIcon Red, Brown and Black

Have you guessed to which thing does the title refers to? Yep, the hairs. (“,)

The boy on the left is red headed, the middle has brown hair and last but not the least, my son, has black hair. Don’t they look cute? For sure they were that is why I made sure I got a shot of them three together. They were playing the whole time when we attended this program for kids at a museum here in the city. Our neighbor took us with them and I was so glad they did because we really had fun.
